Streamlining the digital presence of a global brand.

The Challenge

Carbery is a global company owned by the farmers of west Cork, with a goal to create delicious and nutritious products for customers in 50 countries around the world.

They approached Ebow with a brief to consolidate six websites into two main brands, Carbery.com and SynergyTaste.com.

Their goal was to create a synonymous relationship between the brands while allowing them to exist in their own right. Our task was to reflect their global leadership, cater to their different audiences and increase their digital footprint across various continents and languages.

The Solution

This project involved brand strategy, content strategy, messaging and technical rollout. Through a strategic discovery phase we considered all aspects of how Carbery and Synergy presented their business, heritage, innovations, expertise, service offerings and solutions.

We then channelled their business and user needs into a cohesive digital solution for the modern, connected world.

The two new websites help shape how Carbery are seen: from the local community and employees, to global customers.

Carbery objectives:

Develop user-centric, best-in-class, localised and engaging websites reflective of Carbery’s global leadership position in the industry.

Conduct user research to define Carbery’s target audiences and develop a content strategy that aligns to their needs.

Create and update new brand guidelines that inform the brand’s communication online.

This project involved a deep dive into Carbery’s brand and content strategy. We did this through audience and stakeholder research and in person brand messaging and tone of voice workshops.

This project considered all aspects of how Carbery and Synergy presented their business, heritage, history, cutting-edge innovations, unique industry expertise, consultative service offerings and suite of solutions.

Completed during lockdown with a large number of internal stakeholders, and varying needs from the project, a robust project management and client communications plan was put in place to ensure client satisfaction and smooth project delivery.
