Since January 2022, Ebow has been MoLI’s digital programme sponsor, allowing the team to develop an active digital media department at the heart of the museum, a core and free-to-access resource that provides opportunities for nuanced narratives that could not be achieved through the physical museum alone. The partnership involves multiple projects to digitise the museum, including the pan-european DOORS Digital Incubator for Museums project led by Escite and Horizon Europe. This project is working toward a root-and-brand redesign of RadioMoLI, MoLI’s online and broadcast media archive, for which Ebow are providing their expertise and consultation.
ABOUT THE NIGHT
Business to Arts connects the corporate and cultural sectors through purposeful arts partnerships. Now in their 31st year, the Business to Arts Awards were presented at a ceremony in the National Concert Hall on Tuesday night, with over 400 attendees gathering for an evening of inspiration, entertainment and celebration.
Shortlisted partnerships focussed on arts sponsorship, philanthropy, commissioning of artists and employee and community engagement. Ebow and the Museum of Literature Ireland (MoLI) earned us a coveted nomination in the Best Large Sponsorship category, for their collective work on ‘Digital at MoLI’.
Guests were entertained by performances from intercultural grassroots dance collective Go Dance For Change, music ensemble Glasshouse Music, Nigerian-Irish poets and storytellers We Are Griot, and a rousing finale from Sister Fenix.
