A Computer Science student named Dave turns down Prince’s invitation to party like it’s 1999 – launches a digital agency from his Dublin bedroom instead. Without any good ideas for a name, he uses a placeholder borrowed from a song by REM – ‘E-bow The Letter’ and never gets around to changing it.
Through a combination of creativity, hard work, a passion for digital and a continuous soundtrack of rock n’ roll Dave’s agency grows in terms of size and reputation. Acquires more people. Makes a few mistakes, learns some life lessons but delivers a lot of great work.
Roll on to 2025. Ebow still loves learning and uses what we learn to help our clients find original solutions to the problems they face in the chaotic online world.
This year we also opened our first UK office, in Manchester – and yes, Oasis and the Smiths were deciding factors in our decision to go there.
